WOMEN'S HEALTH ISSUES FORUM IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA

Comprehensive female only conferences held in the Northern Virginia.

The speakers are outstanding and will bring much information to the women of the audience.   Much of the information will be on female sexual health, use of bio-identical hormones, special nutrition needs of women that will assist in promoting sexual wellness.  Sleep and Sleep Habits will be addressed by a Pulmonologist and Sleep Health professional.

Speakers such as:

Dr. Anna Cabeca is a board certified Gynecologist and Obstetrician, as well as board certified in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine, an expert in Functional Medicine, and an expert in womens health. She specializes in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and natural alternatives, successful menopause, age management medicine, reproductive health, and helping patients prepare for pregnancy and combat infertility issues. Dr. Cabeca earned her medical degree from Nova-Southeastern University of the Health Sciences in Florida. Since completing her residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, she has maintained a private practice in Southeast Georgia.

Dr. Elizabeth Cowboy is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine with extensive experience in quality management and sleep. She specializes in cultural and women health issues. She is nationally recognized speaker in critical care, sleep, quality and telemedicine. Dr. Cowboy received her BS degrees in Biology and German and including a year abroad in Saltsburg, Austria. She graduated from University of Toledo Medical School and received her Fellowship from University of Kansas Medical Center. She has served on the board of her medical school with a lifetime achievement nomination. Dr. Cowboy has presented at both State and Federal levels on access, quality and wellness. She spoke at the NOBEL, National Organization of Black Women Elective Legislator.

She is mother of 3 children ranging in age from 7 to 22 years. She is a native English speaker who is conversational in 3 languages. Her family has grown up in multicultural household participating in Navajo spiritual healing blessings and dances at Pow Wows throughout the United States. Her belief is that religious and cultural beliefs need to be integrated into the health of the whole family.

Penelope Ferguson is a registered dietitian (RD) and a Certified Health Coach. She is a Nutrition and Health Educator with over 30 years of clinical healthcare experience. She continues her work in healthcare and is also a Food & Culinary Professional, she writes about food and local agriculture in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. She is the feature writer for her local farmers market and is the feature nutrition writer for Family Talk Magazine. She guides grocery store tours, both on siteand for groups as a virtual lecture. She is experienced with food demonstrations promoting simple techniques, local foods and getting back to family values and the old ways. Penelope is also a Biblical Storyteller.

Tashi Powers was told by her mother that she said she spoke to angels when she was a baby. At 33 she saw them in her bedroom, and has been talking to them consciously ever since. Those two Angels brought great teachers like Jack Schwarz, Jeffrey Green, Joseph Campbell, Chogyam Trungpa, Kalu Rinpoche and many many others. Tashi rolls all their wisdom into her own mystical guidance. Her magazine "The Enlightening Times", established in 1994 and online since1997, features interviews, astrological weather, discussion about the quantum entanglement of Planets, Stars, Horizons, Asteroids,and The Moon. She will be attending the first Dakini Health seminar virtually this year. Tashi will share a SWAG- ECalendar with dates and instructions on how to maximize emotional well being by aligning with the New and Full phases of the Moon.
